All you need to carry out the T160 conversion is the new sprocket, your original spider assembly and shock-absorber rubber retaining plate, a T150 primary chain and T150 Triplex engine sprocket.
David and Ian Wright from Classic Triumph in Australia manufacture a Triplex shock absorber sprocket that allows the fitting of a T150 Triplex primary drive without any modifications at all, and it’s been proven on their own T160 and others around the globe.
