Earlier this year, a letter to OBM from Brian Laitt was read by David Dearle, who hadn’t seen his old friend since the early 1960s.
After we arranged for them to get in touch with each other, David made the trip from Leigh-on-Sea, Essex, to Brian’s home in Somerset last month, and they were reunited after more than 50 years.
