In recent times completely new tyres have been developed which, using the latest in technology and materials, are bringing much greater levels of performance while retaining the look and feel of the appropriate period.

Serving a worldwide market, Vintage Tyres is based on the National Motor Museum site at Beaulieu, Hampshire, and stocks almost 20,000 tyres for two, three and four-wheeled vehicles.
With its Ensign brand, it has become the only company that can supply a complete range of beaded-edge tyres.

Its products also now include the conventional wired-on Ensign Universal range employing the Universal pattern that was common in the 1930s, 40s and 50s in popular sizes. This means that, at last, owners of bikes from that period can fit tyres with the right tread pattern that are already available in 325-19, 350-19, 300-20 and 300-21, with more to come.
