Intrepid trio go 'end to end' in BSA Goldie run

Rather than an attempt to break a record for the shortest time taken to do the trip from Land’s End to John o’Groats this is a little more leisurely. What the three lads – Dave Robinson, Pete Muxlow and Keith Beacroft – will be doing the run for is to raise funds for The Prostate Cancer Charity and Macmillan Nurses.

Their route will take them through the Lincolnshire Wolds which, while not the most usual way to take this trip, means the lads will pass close to home and close to OBM Towers too. So they called in to see us when launching the campaign It is their intention to take in as many shows and events as they can on the 10 day trip and will be at the vintage vehicle weekend at Goathland on the North Yorks Moors on July 13. The lads got a bit of a boost as our publishing director Dan Savage arranged a contribution to set them on their way.
