Garden run organisers hoping turnout will be magnifique

French motorcycles and riders welcome to the Garden run

In addition to Gallic entrants, the run is open to veteran, vintage and post-vintage motorcycles and three wheelers of any make. The post-vintage (1932-1940) class was added last year and proved to be such a popular feature it returns again this year.

The event will start and finish at Headcorn airfield, south of Headcorn in Kent on the A274. The fairly flat 45 mile route is around the rural and quiet roads of Kent and is comprehensively marked. It has been chosen to be suitable for machines of this era and marshals will be posted at key points. There will be a lunch stop at the Lord Raglan, near Staplehurst, for a prepaid lunch. Souvenir horse brasses are awarded to all finishers.
