This is a photo I took at a park in Horsham, Sussex on Whit Monday, 1951 of grasstrack racing where the machines were towing surfboard riders.
As I have never seen this activity either before or since, I wondered whether Mortons Archive contains any similar records and whether it still takes place at grasstrack meetings these days?

We could find no images of ‘grasstrack surfing’ in the archives, but there must be some readers out there who have recollections of such antics?
