My son found an old photograph album and in it were the enclosed photos of people on motorbikes. 
I wonder if the readers can identify the makes of the bikes and where the letter ‘A’ registrations area was?

The accompanying newspaper clipping, marked as being from 1907 (which, to my eye, seems a little early), shows “members of the Birmingham Motor Cycle Club on the occasion of the Hill-climbing Competition at Rose Hill, Rednal”, which suggests that the pics originate from the West Midlands. – Ed
