1938 BSA Empire Star shines in Beamish Trophy Trial

Entrants in the 43rd Beamish Trophy Trial await the ‘off’ with a venerable girder-fork Royal Enfield lightweight to the fore.

One of the last events to closely resemble a prewar reliability trial, the Beamish was ably organised by Tom Norman and fellow club members, and the observed hills and mobile quiz make it a memorable and enjoyable experience for participants.
