Biking barbers ride for a good cause

by

There will be a surfeit of tonsorial elegance in the first week of August as the BarbersRide takes to the roads.

This is an annual event that has, to date, raised over £180,000 for the ‘Make A Wish’ children’s charity. Starting in Newmarket on August 1, the ride will be stopping at the splendid Captain Fawcett’s Emporium & Marvellous Barbershop Museum in the early evening of Saturday August 2.

There will be motorcycles, fish and chips, ice cream and the chance to not only peruse barbering items but to purchase some of the Captain’s (seen here) ever-expanding range of excellent and manly groomly requisites. It’s fun, it’s a bit mad, it’s for charity and it all takes place at Friesian Way, King’s Lynn, Norfolk PE30 4JQ.
