Summer Classic Show winners

With his 1934 500cc Norton M30 International, Andy Marks won the class for the best pre-1950 motorcycle at the South of England Summer Classic Bike Show & Bikejumble at the South of England Showground, Ardingly, West Sussex on Sunday, July 16, the runner-up being Steve Marks’ (1920 1300cc Henderson K).

Mick Johnson looks chuffed after becoming the best 1960-69 class winner on his 1961 BSA A10 Spitfire Scrambler.

The best 1950-59 machine was Dave Carpenter’s 1953 250cc Moto Guzzi Airone (Heron) Sport, with Richard Wheeldon taking second prize with his 1951 998cc Vincent Black Shadow.

The trophies were individually made locally from recycled parts.
