Organisers of the iconic Kop Hill Climb Festival are putting a call out to owners of interesting motorcycles to attend its 10th anniversary event over the weekend of September 21 and 22.
The non-competitive hill climb, which is based in Princes Risborough, Buckinghamshire, was resurrected in 2009, having lain dormant since the event was closed in 1925, after a spectator who refused to back away from the course was injured by a car.
RAC officials stepped in to stop the event and, within a week, racing on Britain’s roads had been banned.

From what was a small gathering of enthusiasts a decade ago, the festival has grown into a major motoring event for classic cars and motorcycles, with some 400 vehicles running the hill over the weekend and more than 16,000 people coming along to watch.
In addition, there’s a whole raft of things to do for the family; from club displays, vintage funfair, food and retail area and one of the best Soapbox competitions in the country for the younger motoring fans.
New for 2019 will be the Engineering Village, where local craftsmen and restorers will be displaying their wares, including some outstanding creations from the likes of bike builder extraordinaire Allen Millyard, who will be bringing along some of his machines for display, and to run the hill.
