Hat-trick trio at Woodford MX

Three riders scored hat tricks at the Northampton Classic Club’s all-action season opener scramble at Woodford, Northamptonshire, on Sunday, April 7.

Some of the 21 races were run at a scorching pace, the classic machines benefiting from modern oils and contemporary takes on suspension and tuning knowledge. 

Triple winner Ashley Wilson (27) from Rothwell, Northamptonshire, with a brace of 1973 CZ two-stroke singles at his disposal was on his usual top form and was on course for five wins but for machine problems.
