Hello again, France calling! I saw this contraption in Marciac in south-west France yesterday. More of a “bit on the back” than a bit on the side! There are probably similar outfits in England, but I just thought that it might be of interest to you. Graham Baldwin
One wonders just how much of a weight is put in that trailer, and how hard the poor little Peugeot 103’s reed valve engine struggles to pull it? The 103 was first produced in 1971, and it appears that this particular French fancy has not only had the trailer added, but also had the rear shocks replaced with struts. Ed
