There will be plenty of high-octane action when the fourth Motorcycle Hill Climb takes place on a newly extended course at historic Leighton Hall, just half a mile from Yealand Conyers in Lancashire, on Sunday, September 23.
Organiser Ian Sherrard, of Sherrard Classic Vehicle Events, has extended the climb from 220 metres to 268,with a high-speed 60-degree bend just 50 metres from the start, and riders will reach speeds of 100mph as they climb through the picturesque parkland.
With limits on neither speed nor noise, the hill climb is open to all motorcycles and three-wheelers of any engine capacity.

Away from the climb and its live commentary, visitors will be able to browse around the autojumble and trade stands and admire displays of Dave Norcott’s grass and speedway bikes, Morecambe Bay Estuary’s Advanced Motorcyclists, the North West Blood Bikes and Lancashire Constabulary’s Road Policing Unit.
