The subject of which oil to use in a classic vehicle is even more emotive than asking someone their politics.

Making clear this slippery subject

Opinions abound and everyone believes their way is the correct way. There are areas of agreement though, mainly over frequency of changing and keeping topped up, but after that it’s almost a free for all.

Taking the slippery subject in hand, author Richard Michell has produced this informative book on keeping the wheels going round smoothly. Aimed mainly at the car market, there will also be a lot of information inside the pages for we motorcyclists.

There’s a lot of technical terminology and explanations on what oil and contaminants do to engines, but it’s certainly a worthy book to be in your library.
