Henry Body 60 years celebration
By: Web Editor
In August the National Sprint Association will celebrate 60 years of competition for Henry Body.
After successful careers in trials scrambles and grass track, Henry took to sprinting and developing his Douglas solos and sidecars into winners.
Hundreds of class and overall wins have been honoured by the VMCC and NSA with a variety of special awards. Henry’s level of competition and bike engineering over such a time span are unrivalled.
As well as his machine preparation and helping other riders with theirs, he leads a team of club members who prepare the track for events at Westonzoyland.
For many years he organised the NSA stand at the Bristol Classic Bike Show.
Henry has been the figurehead of west country sprinting for many years, and we will celebrate this with a gathering of Douglas machines, a presentation, and a surprise or two for him.
Sunday August 15th at Westonzoyland in Somerset.
Racing starts at 12.00 pm.
