Advanced talk
Wirral Advanced Motorcycle Club (WAM) have an evening with former sidecar champion and TT competitor and now Silkolene oil representative Norman Burgess on Tuesday 14 October 2008.

What promises to be a very interesting evening starts at 8pm, the venue The Roundel (RAFA) Club,17 Shrewsbury Road, Oxton, Wirral CH43 1UU. All are welcome and admission is free but please note spaces are limited. Further details from Ian Webb – Events Organiser WAM – on 07763 104171.

Autumnal outing
VMCC runs are the backbone of the old bike scene and Brian Kennedy sent us details of the Goodwood Section’s annual Autumn Run on Sunday 25 October. Starting point is the Ambelley Chalk Pits Museum, near Arundel at 9.30am for 10am. The run will be of around 50 miles through the Sussex Downs and end at a suitable watering hole with plenty of time to put the world to rights.
